Your main responsibilities:

Work in a highly dynamic and multi-disciplinary team to develop new and innovative digital products (Mobile, Internet, and future digital based channels)

Collaborate on architecture, technical design, and build of Android applications following standards, guidelines, and project requirements

Follow Agile process standards defined within the team

Produce clean, stable, fast, well-architected code

Develop frameworks of reusable, extensible code and components to maximize development efficiency

Stay up to date with the latest Android technologies and new iterations of Android for all Android devices

Ensure mobile banking products are released against security and industry standards.

Work with other developers from external vendors

Requirements:

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming paradigm

• Good understanding of MVC paradigm

• Minimum one year of directly-related experience within software development

• Minimum one year of experience of designing and developing mobile and/or web applications

• Experience with Java and Android SDK

• Proficient understanding of Git

• Experience with integrating with other systems using web services and RESTful APIs

• Ability to translate product requirements into design specifications;

• Multi-threaded coding experience; along with practical implementation experience of both asynchronous and synchronous code;

• Solid debugging and problem solving skills;

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-based environment

• Ability to prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and work objectives; use resources effectively and efficiently; demonstrate reliable work habits; and organize and self-direct execution of tasks/duties
